  • What makes you an Environmentally friendly Dry Cleaner ?
We employ an environmentally-friendly cleaning method known as K4, which is a non-toxic and biodegradable system. This innovative approach relies on a special blend of solvents and surfactants to efficiently eliminate dirt, stains, and odors from garments, all while maintaining the fabric's integrity and being gentle on the environment. We understand that some clients may have environmental or chemical sensitivities, so if you have any concerns about the products we use, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. We also offer the following services to mitigate our impact on the earth: Reusable Garment Bags: You can help us protect the environment by purchasing one of our reusable garment bags. Our reusable garment bags are designed for convivence and to help protect our environment. With each order drop-off or pick-up from either of our locations, you can reuse this bag, effectively reducing single-use packaging and supporting sustainable practices. Hanger Recycling Made Easy: Bring your used hangers to us, and we'll handle the recycling. Plastic Cover Bag Recycling: We urge our customers to recycle their plastic cover bags. At each store location, you'll find a blue box receptacle dedicated to collecting all poly bag covers for recycling.
  • Do you use "Perc" in your cleaning process?
Perchloroethylene, or Perc, is a widely employed solvent in dry cleaning worldwide. However, its use poses significant risks as it's a known respiratory and skin irritant, neurotoxin, and carcinogen, potentially causing severe health issues for those exposed. Furthermore, freshly dry-cleaned garments may release this chemical into the air at home. At Busy Bee, we prioritize your well-being, which is why we've made substantial investments in state-of-the-art machines that don't rely on Perc. Instead, our machinery employs an eco-friendly process known as K4, utilizing a biodegradable solvent that's gentler on both you and your clothes.

  • I bought a garment for less than the price you're quoting for cleaning it. What could be the reason for the price difference?
The difference in price between buying a garment and opting for professional cleaning can be explained by several factors. Initially, cleaning costs are affected by variables such as fabric type, garment size, and any specific treatments needed. Our cleaning method integrates premium eco-friendly detergents, specialized equipment, and the expertise of our trained staff. Although the initial cost of certain garments may be lower investing in professional cleaning enhances their longevity and maintains their quality over time.
  • How long do you keep items or garments that haven't been picked up?

  • What if you lose my item or I find that it was damaged by the cleaning process?
In the event a lost or damaged article is deemed to have been caused by us, such articles replacement value will be determined based mainly on the condition, age, and availability. Once determined, its value will not exceed ten times our charge for processing it. Any claim must be made within 2 Days from the date you picked the article up.
  • What is Dry-cleaning?
Dry cleaning is a special way to clean clothes without using water. Instead, our machines use an eco-friendly liquid called solvent to remove dirt and stains. The clothes are placed in our machine and spun around with the solvent, which cleans them without shrinking or damaging the fabric. Afterwards, your clothes are dried and pressed to make them look nice and neat!
  • Why is a blouse more expensive to clean than a shirt?
A shirt is typically crafted from durable materials such as cotton or polyester, making it suitable for machine pressing. Conversely, a blouse is often fashioned from delicate fabrics like silk, chiffon, or satin, and may feature decorative elements like ruffles, lace, or embroidery. Due to the fragile nature of blouses, they cannot undergo machine pressing instead, our garment care specialists meticulously hand press the material.
